During my time at Attik, Scion was one of our main clients as we were the AOR. Scion was due for a new website and would house and contain all related product, sales, media, spots, interactive games, and campaigns. The was a massive undertaking, as we worked on building scion.com from the ground up.

 

My role was to develop a visual language that ties in with the brand’s guidelines and maintain all content that would go on the site. Basically, everything you see on that site was either designed or art directed by myself.

The final site leveraged Scion’s bold campaign imagery was easily scalable,

loaded quickly, and vastly improved users’ brand experience.

We felt the site should load quickly, be scalable to grow as the brand develops new models and be flexible enough to adapt to different marketing efforts. Scion is known for accessorisation and personalization. Users should be able to build their own Scion easily and instantly know its exact price, helping to generate practical leads for dealers and turn browsing into real sales. 

 

We tackled the project with a “three clicks away” philosophy that shaped the UX and design. HTML/

CSS was more capable than ever - with that in mind we designed a new experience driven by liquid display behavior.

We created a site that was not only based on products but fun, informative and interactive experiences altogether. We introduced award-winning AR games, interactive spots and informative pages like this FR-S Heritage campaign.
